“LAUGH IT OFF”

Showcase and commentary on the social relevance of cartoons in a digital age.

Through the medium of cartoons, this 45 min interactive session takes a humourous perspective on our tech-savvy/tech-challenged society thereby highlighting the quirks and eccentricities that have infected us all both globally and indigenously.

Using humour, the session attempts to take a peek at what our lifestyles and thought processes have evolved/mutated into, not all of which can be laughed off, unfortunately. It hopes to shine a light on social behaviour that can perhaps be remedied through self-awareness and a giggle.

At the very least, it hopes to incite some laughs that may help release stress.

Participants should bring their own sketchpads and pens/pencils
