David Mitchell from Leicester, England is a lawyer by profession and he practises in Europe and America. David Mitchell has written four books and his book Tea, Love and War has particular relevance to Assam. He first came to India over 20 years ago when his second cousin was married in Kolkata. He has enjoyed visits to his cousin Ann in Pengeri and Digboi in Assam. In retirement, David plays tennis and golf.
