Murzban Fali Shroff is a Mumbai-based writer. His fiction has appeared in over 75 literary journals in the US and the UK. He is a recipient of the Bacopa Review Fiction Award and John Gilgun Fiction Award. He has received seven nominations for Pushcart Prize, one of the most honoured short story prizes in the US. His story collection Breathless in Bombay was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize in the best debut category from Europe and South Asia. His novel, Waiting for Jonathan Koshy, was a finalist for the Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize. His India collection, Third Eye Rising, featured on the Esquire list of Best Books of 2021. His latest book, Muses Over Mumbai, a collection of 17 stories, has been applauded by renowned writers like Salman Rushdie.
