Lana Abdel Rahman is a Lebanese and Egyptian writer and journalist based in Cairo. She holds a PhD in literary criticism.
She is the author of seven novels and three short story collections, she was selected for the 2009 IPAF Nadwa workshop, marking her as a leading voice in contemporary Arabic literature.
Beyond fiction, Lana Abdel Rahman works as a journalist and literary critic, writing on culture and literature with a focus on contemporary Arabic novels and intellectual debate.
