K Vaishali is an author and diversity and inclusion advocate based in Hyderabad, India. Her memoir Homeless: Growing Up Lesbian and Dyslexic in India won the 2024 Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar. She works as a documentation writer at a tech company where she also leads their LGBTQIA+ business resource group for the Asia-Pacific region. She’s been recognised as a queer role model by global intelligence platform Egomonk and selected as the Specific Learning Disabilities delegate at the 2024 International Purple Fest organised by the Government of India.
