An author and journalist, Ghazala Wahab has written three books since 2017, including the most recent The Hindi Heartland. Her non-fiction work Born a Muslim: Some Truths About Islam in India, won two Book of the Year awards – Tata Lit Live and AttaGalatta. It was also shortlisted for Kamala Devi Chattopadhyay Book Prize. She co-authored Dragon on our Doorstep: Managing China Through Military Power and edited The Peacemakers. Also a journalist, Wahab regularly writes for leading Indian publications and websites. Her own publication FORCE raises focusses on security issues such as homeland security, terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir, Left-Wing Extremism and religious extremism.
