Bibhash Choudhury is Professor in English, Gauhati University. His publications include English Social and Cultural History (Prentice-Hall 2005), Beyond Cartography: The Contemporary South Asian Novel in English (Black Slate 2011), Reading Postcolonial Theory (Routledge 2016) and Deconstruction and Poststructuralism (Orient BlackSwan 2023). He writes a fortnightly column titled “Loving Literature” in The Assam Tribune. He is currently serving as the Director of Gauhati University Press.
