Babitha Marina Justin is a writer and artist. She has written ten books, including translated works. Of Fireflies, Guns and the Hills is her first poetry collection. Her most recent publications are From Canons to Trauma: Essays and Salt, Pepper and Silver Linings: Celebrating Our Grandmothers (co-edited). Her other poetry collections are I Cook My Own Feast and Forty-Five Shades of Brown. Her latest book is a short story collection, The Way Madmen Smell. She has conducted two solo art exhibitions and illustrated the Indo-African story Kichangani. Her creative and academic writings have appeared in several national and international journals.
