Anna Maria Gehnyei, known as Karima 2g, is an Italian singer, dancer, and producer of Liberian origin. Her artistic career began as a dancer but soon became a professional vocalist on the decks of the major Italian discos. In 2014, she made her debut as a soloist and the videos for her first two singles, Orangutan and Bunga Bunga, provoked reactions in the public and critics from music magazines to Corriere della Sera, Il Fatto Quotidiano, and Vogue. Thanks to her artistic career, John Cabot University awarded her an international scholarship, and in 2020 she graduated with a degree in Communications and Political Science. In 2022, she debuted with her first theatrical show If There Is No Sun, of which she is also the author. Il corpo nero is her first novel.
