Anil Kumar Boro is a writer in Bodo language. An expert in folklore, he has written over 35 books of poems, criticism, travelogue, novel, and children literature. He also translated poems and novels from many Indian languages. He has published more than 50 research publications and edited many journals. Some of his poems have been translated into Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, and Nepali. His poetry collection Delphini onthai mwdai arw gubun khonthai won him Sahitya Akademi Award. He was also honoured with Padma Shri besides other awards.
