A scholar of Arabic literature, Abdelaziz Errachidi teaches Creative Writing at Ibn Tufail University at Kenitra in Morocco. He is also the Director of the annual International Festival of Stories and Popular Arts (FICAP). His Nomads on the Cliff (2006) received ‘Acharka’ Arabic prize. He also won Sakyat Essawi Prize for his short story The Basket of Colors (2006) and Ibn Batouta Prize for Sinbad of Sahara (2014). His other notable works include The Wounds of Cities (2023), Body of Clouds (2018), The Kitchen of Love (2013), Foreigners at My Table (2009), Sands of Pain (2007), Alley of Death (2006) and Childhood of a Frog (2005).
