Nipam Kumar Saikia

Nipam Kumar Saikia is an Associate Professor of English at Biswanath College.  He has been writing short stories and articles in both English and Assamese. The National School of Drama invited him to be a member of the Screening Committee for the 8^th Theatre Olympics, the mega international theatre event, held in India for the first time from February 17 to April 8, 2018. He again worked as a Screening Committee member from October 4-12, 2018, for Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2019. He is the author of three collections of short stories in Assamese:  Eta Powar Elegy(2008), Irine Mor Premika (2011), and Aprmor Shesot (2018). His upcoming works include the novel, The Tale of an Indian, and short story collection, The Common Man and Other Stories.
