Alok Kumar is the Director General of Police of Goa. The IPS officer has served in police establishments across the country, including Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Chandigarh and Delhi. In 2020, he played a crucial role in preventing communal riots in Delhi. He also served as Deputy Inspector General in the National Security Guard (NSG), Inspector General in the Border Security Force (BSF), and Inspector General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
