Said Khatibi is an Algerian writer who writes in Arabic. He is the author of five novels, which have been translated into seven languages. His works have received several literary awards in the Arab world. His Sarajevo Firewood was shortlisted for 2020 International Prize for Arabic Fiction. The End of the Sahara is his another novel. Besides his main profession as a novelist, he also works as a journalist.
